Making Entertaining Easier

So many of us in the U.S. have fond memories of Fourth of July celebrations from when we were kids. The sun was probably shining, the popsicles were sticky and sweet, and the nighttime fireworks were loud and bright. It was a carefree, seemingly endless day where the world seemed to slow down, come together, and celebrate.
Now that we’re adults, we know the time and effort that can go into hosting gatherings like these. But whether you’re entertaining at home this Fourth of July or on any other day, we at TRINITY want you to enjoy it too. First of all, you deserve it. And secondly, it can be done.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned in recent years, it’s that we should never take gathering with friends and family for granted. So, let’s lean into the joy of celebrating life’s precious moments – both big and small – with loved ones this year.
Here are some ideas to make your at-home gatherings casual and fun for everyone:
Help Yourself
First of all, check the urge to do everything yourself. Most everyone is more than happy to bring an appetizer or dessert – just ask. At the event, give guests a role in the gathering (even those carefree kids!), whether it’s setting up a game, mixing up a batch of drinks, or grilling food.
Self-serve drink stations and buffet-style food are another way to make things easier for hosts. It also helps guests feel comfortable getting what they want and when.
Our stainless steel coolers on wheels are an attractive option for cold self-serve beverages, inside or out. (You can even double the fun with the ones with foosball lids.) We also offer a variety of kitchen carts that can double as bar carts, and prep tables that add extra counter space for food prep or a buffet.
Make It All About the Experience
In your memory of the perfect July 4th, did it include anything about how clean the patio was or how many side dishes there were? Of course not. It’s all about the experience.
Another idea to amp up the fun and experience level – and ease your workload – is to have a do-it-yourself meal theme. Think make-your-own pizzas or a taco/nacho bar; all you have to do is set up the fixings. If it’s a smaller group, consider concepts everyone can gather around and enjoy together like fondue or a hibachi-style dinner on a growing number of party-size raclette-style grills.
When it comes to seating, don’t worry about matching tables and chairs. For outdoor parties, our Adirondack chairs and patio sets are a great choice for comfort and relaxation.
Set Yourself Up
Even if you’re short on space, you don’t need to buy a lot of extra items to host a gathering. We offer a number of wood and stainless steel kitchen carts, islands and prep tables that are versatile for everyday use and entertaining. Think morning coffee carts that become bar carts for a party, or a kitchen island on wheels that becomes a buffet table at your next event.
These mobile and stationary carts and islands have drop leaf options, as well as drawers, shelves, cabinets, towel bars, and stemware holders. Our stainless steel prep tables come with wheels or without, and also feature adjustable shelves and no-tool assembly. You can choose from a variety of sizes and two steel thicknesses.
