"This substantial stainless steel table is perfect for the warming ovens that we use for holiday meals and other entertaining. The strong NSF stainless steel ensures that the surface will survive the heat of hot dishes, and that the metal alloy is pure. Two people are required, and we assembled it easily in 40 minutes. If you do not have a rubber mallet, you can use a folded rag towel and a hammer. We use a folded rag towel with our inherited rubber mallet, as the rubber has hardened over the years. The instructions are good, and they include the following steps: screw the four legs into the upside-down table top, lower the upside-down shelf onto the table top, install four pairs of slip sleeves at the same height indentations (within 12 inches of the feet levelers, and making sure that the word TOP is upside-down on all slip sleeves, since the table is upside-down), turn the table over, lower the shelf onto the slip sleeves, and hammer the shelf down with the rubber mallet (hammer at the edges of the shelf). The instructions say, “Note: Use rubber mallet, if needed, to secure SHELF (B).” You will definitely need to perform this step, to make the table solid. We noted that you will want to watch the slip sleeves, and make sure that none of them move down as you lower the shelf onto them. If one pair moves, stop and get the slip sleeves back into the correct indentation, and then keep one hand firmly around the bottom of those slip sleeves as you lower the shelf. Likewise, if a pair of slip sleeves has a tiny gap when installed in the desired indentation, do not worry, it will be fine. As you lower the shelf onto the slip sleeves, keep one hand firmly around the bottom of that pair, to make sure that they stay in the indentation. Once the rings on the corners of the shelf have been hammered down onto the slip sleeves, the table will be as solid as a rock (see photos)." - Review posted on Homedepot.com
