Avoid harsh, abrasive cleaners
Don’t use corrosive chemicals
Don't leave salt directly on the shelf or in saltwater environment
Don't use in damp environments
Rinse thoroughly w/hot water after use of soaps/detergents containing chlorides to prevent corrosion
Don't use scouring pads, carbon brushes or steel wool for cleaning. Iron particles left behind can cause rust.
Don't use oily/greasy rags for cleaning.
Use a quality stainless steel cleaner and wipe ALONG the grain.
